Timekeeper

To measure your effective use of time, we have introduced a timekeeper for the articles you study as part of your (statutory) continuing education.

Timekeeper

A timekeeper keeps track of how long you spend reading an article and completing the assignment.

The timekeeper starts five seconds after you open an article. It measures your effective use of time. Want to take a break? No problem. So you have a lot of flexibility in how you spend your time.

The number of points/hours eligible for your (statutory) continuing education requirements is indicated for each article. These range from ¼ to 1 point/hour per article.

The author determines – depending on the scope, level and length – the length of time and number of points (score) for an article. Of course, this may differ from your effective time spent. After all, the time you take to complete an article depends on your experience, prior education and/or affinity for a topic.

Note: the determination of time/point(s) assumes you study and complete the entire article including appendices, tips and assignments.

When you close an article, timekeeping automatically stops.

Knowledge Test

The application settings determine whether the knowledge test is always displayed or after X percentage of the time has elapsed. This prevents people from skipping directly to the knowledge test.

As a reader, you have no idea what this percentage is. The percentage depends on the settings chosen by the administrator. On successfully completing the knowledge test, you receive the corresponding score.
