Managing your account

Set up your account completely to your liking. Fill in your personal details, select your desired roles and activate the applications you want to use.

As you may know, FinSourceOne is a cross-country online platform that has several available apps. These apps are designed to perform advice calculations or to prove ongoing knowledge development and continuing education. The applications were developed to be seamlessly aligned with the laws and regulations and functionality appropriate for a specific country and target group/sector.

All applications have a common denominator. You can personalise them within My Account. This means that it may occasionally explain functionality that you may not have access to.

In addition, you may not be able to customise all settings. In this case, the associated components are displayed as disabled because you do not have sufficient rights based on your assigned roles. If necessary, you can ask an administrator to adjust the settings for you. The Teams section on this page indicates who the administrator is.

My account consists of the following pages:

  • Account
  • Personalise
  • Teams

Account

You use this page to enter your account details and indicate the roles and application(s) you want to use. You can also set up Multi-factor authentication (MFA) to make your account even more secure. If you cannot set up MFA, it must be set for you by the administrator.

Roles

The applications you have access to determine which of the roles below may be displayed:

  • Administrator: as an administrator, you can manage accounts, manage Teams, order licences and much more.
  • Manager Advisors Up-to-date: this role allows managers to monitor the progress of required continuing education in the Compliance Monitor
  • Manager Teams: this role allows you to create and manage Teams. For example, you can set up knowledge teams for the knowledge apps or branches using advice apps.
  • Manager Partner Advice: when you do calculations for other consultancy firms, you use this role allows to manage the relevant advice partners.

Applications

The Applications section shows you exactly which applications are activated for you. If any applications are missing, simply activate them. If you do not have the appropriate rights to activate applications, contact the administrator.

Personalise

You use personalise section to customise the Up-to-date knowledge apps. This allows you to seamlessly align the knowledge apps to your knowledge needs and objectives.

Personalise also allows you to specify whether advice apps can send you messages. For example, messages with the monthly overview of advice notifications or status messages related to the robotising of advice calculations.

Teams

The Teams section shows which teams you participate in. Teams are managed by user accounts assigned the roles Manager Teams and/or Administrator. To make changes, you contact an administrator or manager, which is conveniently listed on this page.
