Akkermans & Partners is accredited as a continuing education organisation with gut beraten under certification number 30787. ‘Gut beraten’ is a voluntary initiative of the insurance sector. It aims to promote continuing education in the sector and the professionalisation of the insurance sector.
Gut beraten education account
If you have a gut beraten education account, you can indicate this in ‘My Account’ in FinSourceOne. Here you can enter your gut beraten ID in the ‘Personalise’ section. Your ID will then be automatically listed on your Advisors Up-to-date certificate.
We also have an API link with gut beraten. This means that your statutory education details and results from the insurance knowledge module are automatically forwarded to and registered with gut beraten.
Every two weeks, our FinSourceOne platform sends an automatic update to gut geraten. This includes the statutory continuing education articles you completed and the associated continuing education hours. So you don’t have to bother with that all that manual paperwork!
Naturally, you can also find your personal progress on the Insurance knowledge module in Advisors Up-to-date on the gut beraten portal.
Besides the education details for the insurance statutory requirement covered by the knowledge module, we can also provide education details for Banks & Investing, Compliance & Governance and Mortgage Credit. But note that the continuing education details for these are not required under BaFin. This means that data is not recorded of administered at gut beraten.
Managing knowledge modules and categories
By default, all knowledge modules and categories are activated for you. But not all modules or categories may apply to you (anymore). You can simply disable these.
From then on, only content relevant to you will be shown. These disabled modules, categories and progress are no longer shown in FinSourceOne’s Knowledge Monitor, Compliance Dashboard and/or Business Dashboard. So, the new details are not forwarded to gut beraten (anymore).
Naturally, should you enable the relevant modules or categories in that same calendar year, these modules/categories and the study hours achieved will be shown again in FinSourceOne’s Dashboards and passed on to gut beraten.
| Important The database of gut beraten is static. This means previously transmitted information is never changed. So, your previously attained hours recorded at gut beraten is always retained. For example, if you disable knowledge modules or categories after your hours have already been submitted, the hours will remain recorded at gut beraten. Of course, your Knowledge Monitor and certificate in Advisors Up-to-date will be updated automatically. |
