Progress Check (Checkpoints)

The Progress Check may be used depending on the requirements set by law or by your organisation for your (statutory) continuing education. The Progress Check tracks whether you are still reading and/or studying the article.

A checkpoint is a pop-up displayed at random times when you read an article. The pop-up may contain two or more checkpoints depending on the study time for the article. When the pop-up is displayed, you must click on the first checkpoint. The pop-up will then close and you can continue studying the article.

There are multiple checkpoints and the pop-up is displayed again at some random time. You will also have to click on the second checkpoint. This process repeats until all checkpoints are displayed. The pop-up is displayed by default (unless set otherwise) for 30 seconds after which it disappears automatically. If this occurs, you missed a checkpoint.

All checkpoints are displayed in the pop-up, but you can only click on one at a time. Clicked checkpoints are shaded in green, missed checkpoints in red and future checkpoints in grey.

Knowledge Test

After you complete an article and have clicked all checkpoints, the knowledge test is displayed. When you successfully complete it, you receive the corresponding score.

You cannot take the knowledge test if you miss a checkpoint and the set-up requires that all checkpoints are ticked off. If this is the case, the knowledge test is not displayed. You may try again with another article.

Pause

Timekeeping continues when checkpoints are displayed. Of course, you may want to take a break from your studies or continue later. In that case, you can pause timekeeping. This also pauses progress monitoring.

When you activate timekeeping again, progress monitoring is restarted. If you close an article, the clock is automatically paused and so is progress monitoring.
