Your Certificates Dashboard

One central place for all your certificates! The Certificates Dashboard provides you with access to all your certificates, including annual certificates, manually generated certificates and your certificates obtained elsewhere.

The Certificates Dashboard displays three types of certificates:

  • Annual certificates
  • Manually generated certificates
  • Certificates obtained elsewhere

Annual certificates

These are certificates automatically generated for you at the end of each calendar year. You automatically receive an email as soon as these are ready.

You cannot delete annual certificates from your Certificates Dashboard because these are generated by the Up-to-date app.

Manually generated certificates

You can generate these certificates yourself, at any time by clicking the ‘Generate’ button. This creates a certificate for all active Up-to-date applications, which then shows your progress up to the time of generation. This is necessary when you need an interim certificate.

You are responsible for your continuing education, so before you leave a job, we recommend you generate and download a certificate with its status. You then have an up-to-date overview of your progress and can prove you comply with your (statutory) continuing education requirements.

If your account is deleted or deactivated, you can no longer generate an Up-to-date certificate yourself.

Note that only Up-to-date articles with a (successfully completed) knowledge or progress test are listed on your annual certificate and interim certificates.

Certificates obtained elsewhere

You have just attended a new webinar, masterclass or course. What about those study points or hours that you can add to an Up-to-date app? You can add the certificate including your score (points/hours) by clicking the ‘Add’ button.

Now you have all certificates in one central location and your score is also immediately added up in your Knowledge Monitor.

For more information on adding certificates, read the article ‘Certificates obtained elsewhere’.

Pop-up blocker

A pop-up blocker can prevent you from generating or adding a certificate. If so, the ‘Allow pop-ups’ option is probably disabled in your browser’s user settings.

This is usually shown in the address bar with an icon, but will depend on your browser. Often, this icon has a red cross.

Unblock it as follows:

  • Click on the ‘pop-up blocker’ icon.
  • Check the ‘Allow pop-ups’ option.
  • Then click the ‘Done’ button.
