Managing Knowledge Teams

You must create a Knowledge Team to use the Compliance Monitor. You, as a manager, need this type of team in the Compliance Monitor so you can monitor one or more teams. More specifically, the progress and knowledge level of team members. If no teams are created, the Compliance Monitor has no data to display.

Roles

The following roles are available to manage and monitor teams:

  • Administrator: as an administrator, you can manage accounts, manage teams, order licences and much more.
  • Manager Advisors Up-to-date: this role allows managers to monitor the progress of required continuing education in the Compliance Monitor.
  • Manager Teams: this role allows you to create and manage Teams.

Setting up and managing teams

For the Teams functionality, go to Teams via the top-right menu. To create a team, click on New Teams. In the pop-up that appears, enter the Team name, select the Team type and enter a description.

After entering the above details, you can add team members. Make sure that at least one team member is included who has the Manager Advisors Up-to-date role.

This team member can then monitor team members’ knowledge development in the Compliance Monitor.

Hierarchy

Note that you can create as many knowledge teams as you want. And you can participate in as many knowledge teams as you like. If, as a Manager, you participate in several knowledge teams, you monitor the knowledge developments of members for all teams in the Compliance Monitor.

Example

Suppose there are 5 teams and each team has its own manager. And also that there is a board that wants to monitor the developments of all teams. You then set up the knowledge teams as follows:

  • You link the role Manager Advisors Up-to-date to the accounts of managers and directors
  • You then create 5 knowledge teams
  • You then link team members and the corresponding manager for each team
  • You then link management to all knowledge teams
